AWK-2B American Wire Kaddy - Romex Wire Dispenser / Caddy
The AWK-2B is made specifically for 100 ft. of AC/BX or 250 ft. of nonmetallic wire. Wire dispenses from the center of the plastic spool for ease in dispensing. Holes in the side of the spool show how much material is left. Easy to load.

In the USA. The AWK-2B's wire frame is made completely in the state of Indiana. The wire reel is manufactured in Wisconsin.
When was the AWK-2B Cable Spool Holder created?
The AWK-2B was originally created in 1985 and went through many design iterations, including the name. In 2025, an appropriate wire reel - that would work - was located and the product was reintroduced as the AWK-2B. The function or purpose of all those iterations was all the same - to hold non-metallic wire or AC/BX cable (armor-covered wire).
